I love the idea of candy corn candies at Halloween time…BUT I’m not crazy about all that packed in sugar candy that my kids will be eating. It is bad enough with all the candy they will get on Halloween night. So, these candy corn “inspired” ice cream cones are the perfect happy medium.

Candy Corn Cone #6

This is great option for a preschoolers Halloween party. You can fill the sugar cones with candy corns, ice cream, m&m’s or gummy worms. You can even create a Halloween candy bar and let the kids pick their own filling for the sugar cones.

4 Sugar Cones

½ Cup Wilton Bright White Candy Melts

¾ Cup Wilton Orange Candy Melts

1 Cup Wilton Yellow Candy Melts

1 Cup Candy Corn

Step 1 – Microwave the white candies until they are melted and smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Step 2 – Spoon the melted white candy into an icing bag (or ziploc bag) and cut off the tip (or a corner). Place a sugar cone on top of a water bottle to help you keep it upright. Squeeze out the candy to cover the lower third tip end of a sugar cone.

Step 3 – Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the orange (in the middle) and yellow candy (up to the lip of the sugar cone).

Step 4 – Let the sugar cones dry completely, about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Step 5 – Fill the candy coated sugar cones with candy corns or other small treats.

    Hi Kristen,
    This is just awesome..
One of the best fit during the Haloween time indeed.
It’s colourful and hopefully the taste would attract kids towards it.
Thanks for shared this recipe and keep sharing some interesting recipes like this.
