Do you love Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte but hate the price? Or maybe you’re having a little mid-morning get together and want to make a large batch for your friends? This recipe is perfect for that! Make your own Crockpot Pumpkin Spice Latte at home with minimal work. Easy Peasy.
I’m planning a Holiday Brunch in a few weeks and of course there will be lots and lots of Mimosa’s. Maybe this Raspberry Strawberry Mimosa or maybe just plain Champagne and OJ. I love Champagne! But not everyone wants to drink at 10am. Haha. So this will be the perfect drink to serve for our Fall brunch. Last season I made a Crockpot Cranberry Apple Sweet Tea Cider, but this year I’m going to the alcohol and the caffeine.
Crockpot Pumpkin Spice Latte
Makes 4 servings
10 teaspoons instant espresso powder
5 cups water
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cup half and half
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Whipped cream, optional
This is the crockpot I have and it works great. I love that it has a locking lid so I can take it with me to parties. It’s also plenty large. It looks like this one is the upgraded programmable crock pot – um, I’m adding it to my Christmas list as we speak.
I love that it uses Instant Espresso Powder too, because I only have a regular coffeemaker.
Step 1 – Boil 5 cups of water in a saucepan
Step 2 – Place the espresso powder in the crockpot and pour 5 cups boiling water overtop.
Step 3 – Stir in the pumpkin puree, creamer, and spices.
Step 4 – Place on high heat for 45 minutes to combine, and then serve (caution: will be extremely hot).
Step 5 – Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon as desired.
If you’re serving this for friends, you can just use your regular mugs. But for a party, you might want to serve it in themed mugs, like these Pumpkin Spice campfire mugsor these Pumpkin Spice Everything mugs (too cute!).
