Cheri Anderson, from Highway 4 Photography, took our family photos at the end of June and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I met Cheri when I was just starting on my road to blogging in June 2014. Cheri is a true professional and her photos show that.

Disclosure: I received these photos free of charge, however my opinion is entirely my own. Read more on my Disclosure page.

I initially fell in love with her use of color and light after seeing her pictures on her Facebook page here.  The way someone edits a photo really takes it to the next level and I love what Cheri does.

You can visit Cheri’s website here. She is located in the Denver metro area.

She doesn’t just take standard portraits, she really captures the emotion of the moment. She caught my toddler being wild and crazy and I love that! Those caught-in-the-moment pictures are priceless.

Cheri says on her About section on her website:

Well, here it goes: I consider myself to be an easy-going girl on a mission. That mission is to capture your real unscripted life! I love raw genuine emotion. LOVE it!! My formal training began in the early ’90s and I am still learning and loving this photography stuff today. I am not a traditional shooter who will pose you and tell you where and how to look. Most definitely I will provide guidance, but this is YOUR life, let’s capture the genuine spirit of how it really is; and trust me, it’s perfectly beautiful! I strive to keep my sessions fun, easy and stress-free

I mean, does it really get any better than this? I just love this picture of my baby.

If you’re in the Denver Metro area, contact Cheri for a photo shoot.
