Blogging is hard folks. If I make it look easy, then I’m doing my job right. I’ve taught myself everything I know and there is still tons to learn.

Here are a few resources I have found super helpful in my blogging journey. Some may be affiliate links and I may receive compensation if you click through my link. Your costs is the same (and sometimes lower) than you would receive clicking through elsewhere.

Training

Blog Genesis Academy

This course was a life saver. There are videos that are screen shares that literally walk you through how to build your blog and make it beautiful. I would sit with my blog on one screen and the course on the other and just follow along. It is all self paced and you can go back and forth between videos. The videos are usually short to, so you can do a little bit here and there. If you are new to blogging, this is the course for you.

Email Service

Mad Mimi Email Marketing

Mad Mimi

Mad Mimi is what I use for email subscriptions. It came highly recommended from fellow bloggers. Their customer service is fast and effective!

Hosting

I currently use Siteground for my webhosting. So far, they have been affordable and very quick to assist. My load speed improved when I switched to Siteground as well.

Technical Support

Scheduling Apps

Post Planner – I use Post Planner to schedule my Facebook and Twitter. It is very easy to use and helps me find viral content to post to my page.

Ads

I currently use Swayyem for ad support. The customer service is the best I have experienced so far. There is no contract term and no penalties if you decide they’re not for you anymore.

Blogging Networks

Get Sponsored by Big Brands

Izea – I love IZEA for sponsored Tweets, Facebook posts and Instagram posts. You can also work on sponsored blog posts through them as well.

Swayyem – they provide my ad support and they are also a Blogging Network.

A 30-something Mommy to 2 darling girls (2 and 4) and a newborn baby boy. I love reading, writing, trying new beers with my husband and binge watching series on Netflix.
