Butterflies are so beautiful, aren’t they? What I love about them is how colorful they are and how intricate their wing designs are. No two butterflies are alike – just like people. The coloring pages for adults trend is going on full force, so I was inspired by butterflies to create this free mini coloring book for adults.
Butterfly Adult Coloring Pages
I’m so glad that it’s now socially acceptable for moms to color. I love to help my kids with the kid’s menus at restaurants! Now it doesn’t feel so weird and hopefully I won’t get as many stares.

Even when we are at home, I love to color with them in their coloring books. It’s something I can do to just let my mind wander and relax a little bit from the constant stress of life as a mom.

This mini coloring book has 3 pages and a cover that you can also color. That’s hours of mindless fun as you color in the intricate butterfly wings.
This is the cover of the coloring book and one of the pages. Each of the pages has a quote or saying. This page actually has color images of butterflies for you to color. It’s kind of unusual for a coloring page to start out in color, but I think it adds a nice touch, especially to the butterflies.

The quote on this page is “It’s very tough for me to focus. I’m like: ‘Look, something shiny! Oh, there goes a butterfly!” from Gabby Douglas. I think most moms can relate to this quote. Mommy brain is real! I feel like I lose more brain cells with every child. I am constantly distracted by their fighting or needing something. Can you relate?
The second two pages are more traditional black and white pictures. One says “Butterflies and Flowers” and the other one has another quote. The quote on this page says, “The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.” by Rabindranath Tagore.

This quote also resonated for me as a mom because we live moment to moment with our kids as they grow up. It seems like you blink and years have passed. This page will remind you to savor every single moment.

Enter your name and email address below. You will be directed to the Practical Printables page where you can download and print all of the printables from Practical Mommy. Note: you will be added to a mailing list. Feel free to unsubscribe at any time (although I hope you’ll stick around).
If you like printables, then you probably go through a lot of ink. I just found a great “hack” for you then. HP started something called Instant Ink which lets you subscribe to an ink service. Instead of running out of ink at the worst moment, or spending a small fortune on all the ink cartridges – now you can get in sent directly to you for a very small fee every month. It starts at $2.99 a month (that’s the plan I’m on). You can learn more on their website.
Cute coloring pages!
