Last Sunday night, the clock was turned again. This always happens twice a year. In March the clocks are set to Summertime and in October again to Wintertime. On Sunday, the clocks are set forward by one hour, at 2:00 in the morning. For us, the time change meant that we slept one hour less that night.

Why Is The Time Changed?
In Germany, there was this time change already for the first time in the year 1916. Afterward, it was abolished a few times again and introduced again. Only since 1980, the clock has been changed regularly every year. The reason for this was that politicians had decided that more electricity could be saved by changing the clocks. People should make better use of daylight. But researchers have long since found out that this is not the case at all. No more electricity is saved by switching from winter time to summer time or from daylight saving time to wintertime. It even happens that people have to heat in the morning in summer when they get up and it is still dark and cool there.
Many People Do Not Like The Time Change
There are many people who do not like this time change at all and even find it stupid. Not everyone can put away this time change so easily. Above all the Biorhythm of the human being cannot be deceived. Many are therefore very tired after the time change in the morning or can fall asleep in the evening worse than before. Especially in the first few days, many find it more difficult to concentrate and are also unable to perform at their best. Almost 75 percent of all people who have been questioned by researchers about the time change would be in favor of abolishing summer time and winter time and having the same time all year round.
Explaining The Difficult Words
The Biorhythm is a sequence that describes your daily form. People’s performance and state of mind are subject to certain sequences. This means, for example, that if you always have to get up at 6 o’clock in the morning because you have to go to school, then your body gets used to this time and many then wake up all by themselves without an alarm clock.
The Summertime begins on the last Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October.
The Wintertime begins on the last Sunday in October and ends on the last Sunday in March.
