How Does Creating A More Positive Mindset Increase Productivity?

Have you ever been so upset about something, that you found yourself in a bad mood all day, and whatever tasks you were trying to accomplish took you a lot longer to complete, or worse, you didn’t get them done?

Having a positive mindset improves your time management because being in a bad mood makes staying focused difficult.

Your mindset motivation sets the tone for your workflow

Having a positive mindset can help you become more proactive and less reactive. This means that before a problem occurs, you will have the opportunity to identify a challenge and address it.

If you’re a work at home mom struggling to reach all of your goals, meet work deadlines while doing all the things, the first thing you need to do is reevaluate your mindset.

One amazing tool that I have found to be very helpful is, “Mindset Makeover: Makeover Your Mindset and Take Your Life to the Next Level” by Faith Hawks. This eCourse is for you if you’re ready to rise up and take the next steps in your life, but you don’t know where to start. These lessons teach you how to shift limiting beliefs, overcome fear, step into gratitude, and take your life to the next level.

Staying positive reduces stress

Being stressed takes a toll on your body and your mental health. Every job comes with its own stressors but when you are working from home and trying to keep little ones happy, fed, and alive, that adds on a whole other level of stress.

As a work at home mom myself, I have found a great resource for working on shifting my mindset in order to reduce my stress levels. It’s called, “Beat Self Sabotage: How to Overcome the Emotions that are Holding you Back” by Joelle Byrne. This workbook can be helpful for you if you would like to learn more about how to conquer the emotions that could be holding you back from your ideal life.

Stay consistent when you set your goals

If you’re living out of habit, you’re allowing whatever your habit is to be your guide. If you’re living out of intent, you are allowing yourself to actively focus on working towards your goals. I encourage you to live less out of habit and more out of intent.

Now, not all habits are bad. There are such things as healthy habits and I absolutely encourage striving towards creating those for your life, but living out of intent is more about your purpose driving the decisions you make.

You can think of this as your why. What is your motivation? If you are going to be successful as a work at home mom, you need to know your why. Be clear on this because there are going to be days that are going to be so difficult that you are going to want to give up. A habit that I encourage you to make starting today is to prioritize keeping a positive mindset each and every day.
Keeping a positive mindset is challenging but doable. Consistency is key in staying productive and it is time to change our unhealthy habits, and live more out of intent. A great tool to help you create more positive habits is, “The Consistency Cure” by Jennifer E Berk. This eCourse will teach you how to shift your habits compassionately and with long-term consistency.

3 Tips On How To Start Your Day With A Positive Mindset

  1. Write in a gratitude journal, even if it’s just writing down 3 things you’re grateful for or 3 positive affirmations. Mom life can be so chaotic that taking the time to slow down and appreciate life can become rare. A great journaling tool to take a look at is, “Show up Afraid: Self-Guided Course” by Krista O’Reilly-Davi-Digui. This printable workbook allows you to quiet the noise of perfectionism, comparison, and fear so you can show up fully to your imperfect and beautiful life.
  1. Start your day by prioritizing yourself. Mom’s tend to put everyone else’s needs before their own but giving yourself that time at the beginning of your day to do something you enjoy will boost your positivity and productivity for that day. For me, I like to exercise in the morning. Getting my blood flowing sets the tone for the rest of my day.
  1. Review your goals. If you’re going to accomplish your goals you have to remind yourself what they are, to begin with. This small task will help you stay focused on what you need to accomplish throughout the day, in order to meet your goals.

Nursing pillow

A good breastfeeding pillow has several advantages, because it helps you not only to breastfeed, but also to fall asleep and is also suitable as a nest.

Diaper bags

A diaper bag offers you a lot of storage space, so that you have everything you need for your baby on the go - from the changing pad to the bottle.

Pucksack

A pucksack gives your baby the feeling of security, like in the womb, and thus supports a peaceful and restful sleep.

Bicycle trailer

Bicycle trailers can be used in combination with a baby seat shortly after birth. They are not only safer than child seats but also more comfortable.

Playpen

A playpen can be very practical in everyday life! Which model is suitable for your needs, you can read in my guide.

Baby bed

The first bed accompanies your child for years. Fortunately, there are beds that grow with your child. I have made for you on the search for the best baby beds.

Stroller

A stroller is a worthwhile purchase. But there are the most diverse models on the market. Find out which is the right one.

Radiant heater

Radiant heaters provide your child with the necessary warmth when changing diapers or after bathing.

Extra bed

Side beds are very practical and offer both mother and baby a lot of advantages, because for babies, especially in the first months of life, it is reassuring to be able to sleep next to their parents.
