  • Group 2 child seats are suitable for children weighing between 15 and 25 kilograms, or up to 7 years of age.

  • Group 2 child seats can be fastened with Isofix or with the car seat belt.
  • Old cars sometimes do not have Isofix integrated, in newer cars it is now standard .
  • Installation with the seat belt is more prone to errors, as this method is more complicated and also more time-consuming.
  • The Isofix system allows for quick installation and removal of the child seat, as the pins protruding from the seat simply have to engage with the counterparts present in the car.
  • The child seat is securely installed within a few moments using Isofix, and there are hardly any sources of error.
  • You can find out whether your car has Isofix in the owner’s manual.
Safety
  • Not every child seat is allowed. Before buying, make sure that the child seat meets the current standards.
  • Only child seats that comply with one of the following test standards are permitted: i-Size or UN ECE Reg. 129, UN ECE Reg. 44/04 and UN ECE Reg. 44/03.
  • As long as it is possible, you should buckle your child in with the 5-point belt of the child seat. If this belt is too tight, you can remove it according to the manufacturer’s instructions and buckle your child in with the car’s belt.
  • In any case, make sure that the seat has been tested for harmful substances . Look for test seals such as Oeko-Tex or TÜV.
  • Any harmful substances that may be present enter your child’s body through contact with the skin and mouth and can trigger illnesses and allergies.
