Tip No. 1: Buy Gifts Early
The best tip for relaxed Christmas gift buying is to simply get the gifts earlier than usual. The best way to do this is to simply go shopping for gifts now or at the beginning of December. From mid-December, the stores will again (as every year) be completely overcrowded and then shopping for you and especially for your parents is a single torment. It is then no fun and you often do not find what you want and are therefore in a bad mood.
Tip No. 2: Simply Tinker With Your Own Gifts
Why do you always have to buy Christmas presents? How about instead, if you simply grab the scissors and glue yourself this year and make something great for your siblings and your parents? It sounds a bit complicated at first, but it’s actually really easy. You can find lots of great videos on the Internet or you can just do it yourself. For example, you could make a small bowl for your mom or dad out of clay (available at craft stores), which can then be used for loose change or car keys, for example. Whatever you make, your parents or siblings may be even happier than if you just buy something for them.
Tip No. 3: Give The Gift Of Time
Or simply give your siblings and parents the gift of time. In other words, you simply spend an afternoon or evening with them doing what they like to do best. A TV evening with your dad and his favorite movie, going out for ice cream with your sister, or even a nice chat with your mom – it’s up to you what you do with the time you give your loved ones.
