School Enrollment: How To Make Your Child’s School Cone Yourself

School Cone: The Classic

For a long time now, these have been sweetening the start of school for students. Of course, you can also buy a sugar cone, but to make it personal, just make one yourself for the first day of school. Maybe even together with your child?

Make A School Cone: Basic Model

It is always best to start with a basic model. This you can then still individually design and decorate. For the base of the school cone you need:

  • Sturdy cardboard, rollable, 80 x 80 cm.
  • Crepe paper or tulle in the color of your choice.
  • Wrapping paper.
  • Adhesive tape.
  • Cutter knife or sturdy scissors.
  • Liquid paper glue.

Instructions

1. Step: Roll Up The School Bag

Take the cardboard and turn it into a bag with a diameter of about 25cm and a pointed end. Glue the bag with the paper glue. Then you can wrap it with wrapping paper, for example.

2. Step: Attach The Crepe Paper Or Tulle

Attach the crepe paper, or tulle to the top inside edge of the bag. You can choose the color and material that you like best. The “collar” should protrude about 30 cm from the top edge of the bag and should be firm. Gather the material before gluing it on for a nice look.

3. Step: Wrap with wrapping paper

If you haven’t already, you can now wrap the school bag blank with wrapping paper. To do this, apply a few rows of paper glue and wrap the wrapping paper around it. Make sure that the transition to the tulle collar is exact.

The school cone is ready! Now you just need to fill it with candy or school supplies. In any case, she is now something very special.
