If you’re looking for a quick craft/recipe for your preschoolers this Valentine’s day, then these chocolate dipped wafer cookies are exactly what you were looking for. My kids loved dipping the cookies in chocolate and decorating each one with these adorable Valentine’s decorations.
I love this type of craft/recipe because they are so fun and easy. You might make a bit of a mess with all the decorations, but the kids absolutely love them.
Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies
Step 1 – Place the white chocolate wafers in a microwave safe bowl and melt the white chocolate until smooth and creamy. Microwave on high in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.
Step 2 – Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the cookies won’t stick to the sheet.
Step 3 – Dip one half of the wafer cookie into the melted chocolate.
Step 4 – While the chocolate is still warm add the decorations to each one. Alternate the different decorations. This is the part my kids love the best!
Allow the cookies to cool completely before eating.
